Church Logo Design - Components of church logo designs

Church logo designs are different from logos belonging to other industries. As the name itself define it, Church Logo designs are not meant to be attractive but they should be portraying the church's motive well. If you ever look at church logo designs, you will actually find them very different from conventional logos. The reason is very apparent; the motive behind the logo design. Normally, companies produce eye catching and competitive logos in order to attract the public. However, this is not the case with church logo designs. Churches do not produce logos to attract public towards them but the only motive they have behind a logo design is to tell their objective to the public. There is one image that you will find in nearly 99% of church logo designs and that is the 'cross sign'. Nevertheless, this is the sign of Christianity without which no Church can display its message. It simply shows that the church is serving the people of Christ and is a place where Christians can come and worship.
Color scheme
The most prominent color in church logo designs is white. As everyone nearly knows the connection between white color and Christianity, therefore it becomes the primary reason to incorporate white color in church logo designs. Other colors which you can find in church logo designs are shades of red and yellow. Yellow is incorporated in church logo designs because yellow color signifies 'light' and 'red' color signifies blood.
